When you give to Opera San José, you're creating access where barriers once stood. Last season, 961 students experienced their first opera at no cost. Over 5,000 neighbors encountered live performances in parks, libraries, and festivals across Silicon Valley. Emerging artists received the support to launch professional careers. And nearly 13,000 people proved that when we remove barriers, opera thrives.
Your gift ensures that opera in San José remains both excellent and accessible—that every voice is welcomed, celebrated, and heard. While institutional funding continues to shift, your partnership provides the stable foundation we need. Sixty-five percent of everything we do exists because of people like you who believe that opera should belong to everyone.

- Opera San José operates with a budget that relies on 65% of funds to come from contributed sources-and that means you, our institutional partners and our corporate and vendor partners.
- We host 7 artists in residence. We house them locally and promote their growth and training so that they share their gifts with you and then bloom into larger roles on larger stages.
